The Challenges are there for socio-economic upliftment of the Indian masses, defense requirements of the country, exploration of nature on Earth and in space and creation of new resources of energy etc. I am convinced that these and other challenges can be met through propagation of world-class quality education in Engineering and Technology in Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET). I have set for myself a target to provide total education to my students, from primary to higher / professional education in all areas like engineering and technology, law, business management etc., through the institutions of foundation so that my students, AMITIANS, may excel in their profession, and achieve their goals and have a joyful and contented life. this would lead to serving the nation and the humanity.
In our country, we have immense talent. All that is required is to guide and bring out the best of it through quality and need-based education. This I have planned through the institutions of RBEF. Thus the paramount importance is to create international bridges by blending the advanced knowledge and modern technological tools of the West with the Indian traditional values, culture and heritage of the East. This aim cannot be achieved without support and guidance of all those whose help the ASET Team has been seeking and would be seeking. The students determined to excel, the competent and dedicated faculty, the meticulously designed curriculum and the optimum infrastructure is going to bring ASET among THE BEST in the world, which is my endeavour and which is my firm belief.
Central library: The Library set-up consists of two libraries – The Junior Library & the Senior Library. The Junior Library is mainly meant for students from Gr.2 to 5 and the Senior Library for students from Gr. 6 to 12 of AIS, and for students of the AGS. Both the libraries together have over 25,000 carefully chosen, age appropriate books, and subscribe to over 100 periodicals. In addition to books and periodicals, the libraries have a collection of DVDs/Videos, educational CD ROM databases and special resources.
Senior Library
The Senior Library with a floor space of 5358 sq. feet is a spacious, well-furnished, well organized and fully-computerized modern library. The library is centrally air-conditioned to provide a comfortable environment for the library users. To carry forward Amity’s rich heritage in academic excellence, the school has an excellent library set-up which caters to the needs of over 3200 students & staff of Amity International School. Students have access to ten computers to access the internet/the library catalogue and separate cabins for group study/project work.
