Placements: We at Jaipur Engineering College (JEC) believe that in Engineering and Management kind of professional education industry exposure is very important. Apart from working proactively for arranging industrial training for its students JEC stays in constant touch with industry. We also have tie ups with many branch specific companies. We at JEC have proper Industry Interaction Committee (IIC) in the institute which supports the Training & Placement Cell. The year long activities of Industry Interaction Committee include talks by industry experts, industrial visits, seminars & conferences on various topics in technology and management and trainings. The Placement Cell at JEC is also has been actively engaged in motivation, guidance and counseling of students for personality development, potential job prospectus and further studies.
In Engineering as a part of curriculum it is mandatory for students to undergo Industrial Training of 2 months after 3rd year Jaipur Engineering College ensures that all the students get training in top MNCs and public sector companies to get maximum out of the training. On visiting the campus, one is struck by the aesthetic elegance of its buildings, spacious lawns, ubiquitous sports grounds and lush green environment so conducive for teaching-learning process. The campus boasts of in-house facilities like state of the art labs, spacious classrooms, air cooled separate hostels for girls and boys, mess with hygienic food, college canteen, health care center, gym, squash, tennis etc to cater all necessities of the hostlers and the staff.
Self-sufficient captive generation of power ensures uninterrupted power backup for the entire campus.
Central library: The institute’s library is an invaluable resource with 35000 plus books over 3400 under titles. The institute’s library is a regular subscriber to 110 print journals, 280 e-journals and 400 cassettes & VCDs on various subjects of engineering and management. The library is housed in a 4500 sq ft area with a 1700 sq ft reading room attached to it. Apart from this all the departments have their book banks for students. The college is a member of INDEST e-journals and DELNET, an organization of library network which has around 550 engineering colleges as its members and provides book bank facility. The Library is open after college timings also follows an ‘open access system’ so that the students can read books at leisure.
Hostel: Separate hostels ensure privacy and homely environment. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, air cooled and offer congenial atmosphere for academic development. All the rooms are air cooled and have attached let baths. The campus has excellent in door and outdoor sports facilities. A doctor and nurse visit the hostels very regularly. There are three separate messes and offer hygienic food.
Events
Annual Feast :
The college organizes Rostrum & Fungama (technical and cultural fests) every year. The festivals offer a wide spectrum of activities to for students. Rostrum presents a gamut of national level competitions and contests. Fungama also attracts various teams and individuals from other colleges in Rajasthan and other states as well.
Hi guys, i would like to give you a sincere advice here regarding this fake college. I am a suuferer who has ruined his life coz of this collge. It’s not an engineering college, its a shit hole and if you get into thsi collge you too will become shit. There is not a single bad thing that would not fit right for this college. Guys if you havent joined yet you are saved considr yourself lucky. JEC is highly discouraged college. i am sure i would be agreed by all Alumni who have ever passed from this place. Dont Go.. some or any college would be better than this. They drain you through the 4 years of your Btech and if there is something left in you its all shit. They dont have placements .. hell a few months back they didint have a placement officer even. teachers are very poor. you might know more than them.. they dictate books to you in classes. JEC ruins your life.
