The Vidyapeeth has a complete University like structure with its Executive Council, Academic Council and Finance Committee at the apex level headed by Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala. Its constituent units also have their Governing Bodies at the College level. Located in a sprawling serene campus spread over 180 acres of land, the Vidyapeeth offers a highly conducive environment for the teaching-learning process and the all-round development of the personalities of its inhabitants.
Central library: In this age of information, the library services must be the heart of any institution. The Library (Learning Resource Center) plays a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aiding in learning activities. The primary purpose of the library is to support teaching, research, academic & management programs. The college Library is housed in an area of about 600 sq. meter having seating capacity of 320 persons at a time in two Reading Halls. This Library organized into various sections e.g. Periodical section, Reference section, Book stock section, Reading room section etc. which are managed by professionally qualified staff.
The Library is well stocked with a wide range of more than 22000 Scientific & technical books for different branches like CSE & IT, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Science & Humanities, MBA, General, Competitive, reference and other discipline, catering to the needs of about 1634 members (both Faculty and Students). The library is subscribing a large number of technical journals to 136 Journals (National and International). Also the library is member of ESDU, which offers online access to a number of journals in IEEE & Science Direct. Library have more than 695 educational videos.
Hostel: students come to JCDV from every corner of the country. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus. The Hostel provides such an ambiance that the students feel they are at home. The rooms are well furnished, with attached bathrooms, proper housekeeping facilities, telephone facilities and are equipped with a number of other amenities as well. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. The hygiene and cleanliness factors are the basic ideas that are very well taken care of and best measures are taken to provide very healthy and homely atmosphere for the students choosing to avail this facility. Mess arrangements are made on co-operative basis along with hygienic and good food. Hostel has an activity centre, gymnasium, common room, reading room, dining room with mess, canteen till late hours & other basic amenities like hot water supply in winter. JCD Vidyapeeth offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. Hostels are surrounded by green open space which gives lots of oxygen rich air and a natural environment away from city hustle and bustle.

Annual Sports Meet
The outstanding performance of the students of J.C.D.M College of engineering led the college athletics team to a marvelous victory overall. The occasion was 7th annual athletic meet of the J.C.D Vidyapeeth, held on 15-16 march 2011.
There was a tough competition between the defending champions, the Dental college team and the current favorites the engineering College team in most of the matches. But the crown went to the engineering college finally.
Mr. jitender Singh of CSE and Ms. Sharmila Beniwal OF ECE were declared as overall best athlete of the 7th annual athletic meet.
College Team also participated in FROLIC-2011, Annual Sports meet at BRCM ,Behal held from 24-28 march 2011 and delivered excellent performance.
