A 140 km drive on the Jaipur-Bikaner highway (NH-11) from Jaipur takes you to the magnificent campus of the institute. Placements: In 2007, companies like, ICICI Prudential, Birla Sun Life, ICFAI, Fortis Escort Hospital, Su-kam, NIMS, HCL, Dainik Bhaskar, Kotak Mahindra, Reliance Infocomm, Hypercity, Abysoft, etc., recruited the students of FMS.
During 2007-08, Accenture, TCS, IBM and Infosys have selected 70, 64, 56 and 21 students respectively from the final year batch.

For the session 2007-08 IFB Industries, Jaipur Rugs Company Private Limited, ICFAI and Abacus visited MITS campus and selected 3, 3, 4 and 4 students respectively; companies like Aditya Birla Group, Deutsche Bank, Reliance Infocomm, Synergy Infosystems, Times of India, Hindustan Times, etc.
Special emphasis is giving on training of the students in foreign languages like Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.
The Institute has an active and centralized Training and Placement Cell (TPC) functioning throughout the year with commendable efficiency.
TPC organizes periodic training to students resulting in the development of their personality, team spirit, systematic planning, etiquettes, inter-personal skills, time planning, etc.

The whole campus has been beautifully landscaped with waterfalls, fountains, orchards, lawns, forests and a water body, literally transforming the Shekhawati belt of the Thar desert into an oasis. In a latest survey 89 species of birds ( certified by ornithologist from World Wildlife Fund-Indis) and 16 species of butterflies (certified by lepidopterists from World Wildlife Fund -India) have been identified. The campus has its own power house and captive sewage treatment plant. No ground water is lost and all irrigation is carried out with recycled water. Its rural location is quiet and peaceful, indeed ideal for academic pursuits, close to the nature in its totally pollution-free environment and far away from the hustle-n-bustle of city pollution.
Central library: It has a good collection of more than 20000 books , 1500 CDs and 200 video cassetes to provide sufficient consulting material for the faculty as well as the students.It has a variety of material, which includes course books along with the books for the overall development and recreation reading, in addition to national and international journals.The journals subscribed provide the latest information of the key industries and engineering trends to help the students in crucial decision making, and developing the aptitude for the same. The library is subscribing various e-journals like IEEE journals(233) , Science Direct journals(316),SCOPUS(Large abstract and citation database of research literature and select web sources) and BSSA & SRL which are highly beneficial in inculcating the spirit of research among the students as well as the faculty members.The library is a member of INDEST and Its competent and qualified staff assists the students in using the rich resources of the library effectively. The library, under its modernisation scheme, has undertaken a massive programme of computerisation of its entire holdings. The reference library is also equipped with photocopying facilities and other modern amenities. The students are encouraged to spend their spare time in the library and thus enrich their knowledge. The library serves as a resource centre to the teaching faculty .
Hostel: Experience a cozy home-like atmosphere at our hostels. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, self-contained and well maintained. They are airy and provide for a great view. The hostel also has the unique telecom facility for incoming calls only. They come with the basic amenities like bed, table, chair, small cupboard and electrical fittings. There is 24-hour water supply also. There are, however, a set of rules and regulations that have to be strictly adhered to. A recreation hall with facilities for indoor games like chess, carom encourages students to make good use of their leisure time. One L.C.D. TV per hostel is also provided.
Each hostel has GNM to take care of students including emergency medical needs. All units strive hard to ensure that the students enjoy their stay here!
