Central library: The Library is the heart of any college. Library has a well-planned air-conditioned library. It can accommodate more than 120 students at a time. It also has a digital library. The Library has a rich collection of more than 6,500 volumes of text and reference books with 1760 titles. Library also subscribes to 53 national and 23 international Journals/Magazines. It provides an immense source of knowledge for academic and research activities. The members of Library have access to the various services provided by the library. These include reference service, circulation service, reprographic service, selective dissemination of information service, current awareness service, inter library loan service. Library has applied for institutional memberships of British Council Library and American Centre Library. Separate display section announcing new arrivals “facilitates readers to know the latest books available in the area. The library encourages the readers by introducing interactive schemes like ‘May I Help You’ Desk and Suggestion Box.
Hostel: Both the institutes offer hostel facilities for students. Accommodation for girl students is separate. All rooms are three-seated for boys and double-seated for girls, these are furnished with a set of furniture for each student separately including study table, chair, cupboard and bed. Facilities for Water Cooler & Boiler for hot water are also available. Presently, on-campus hostel facilities for 164 boys and Girls exist. Each hostel wing has attached washroom. The rooms are fully secured and security guards are posted in both Boys’ and Girls’ hostels. The hostel has all modern facilities including telephone and 24 hr Internet connection, a large dining hall and common room with indoor games. In the hostel, washing machines and dry-cleaning facilities will also be provided. Room coolers are provided on requirement basis. Hot water is also provided. Hostel has a standby power supply provision. All hostlers are required to eat in the hostel and follow the hostel discipline strictly.
