Placements
Placements: Training & Placement Department at HEC aims at not only the placements of its students but also plays an important role in shaping the careers of students from their induction & Orientation, Summer Internships, Mid Terms projects and Industrial Visits. T&P Cell undertake various academic and co-curricular initiatives so that students are well equipped to meet varied industry requirements along with Training of students for improvement technical, soft and communication skills. To carry out this task, HEC has tied up with Purple Leap, Bulls Eye and Careers Launchers. T&P Cell also arrange pre-placement talks of various prospective companies visiting in HEC for recruitments.
Pre-Placement Talks:
PPTs conducted by the companies are an excellent opportunity for students as well as recruiters. It gives students an opportunity to know about prospective employers in detail and gives companies a chance to attract and select talent. It gives a chance to our students and faculty to interact with company executives and get acquainted with the corporate culture in which they are to live in future.

LOCATION:
It is located on Old Chhachhrauli Road within the municipal limits of Jagadhri, the Metal-Town of Haryana, surrounded by Shivalik Hills on the North and sacred river Yamuna flowing on the West.Jagadhri (Yamuna Nagar) is a Corporation, a junction of three states of Haryana, Himachal and U.P. It is easily approachable through National Highway from Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Saharanpur (U.P.) and Paonta Sahib (H.P) in a radius of about 50 kms. It is at a distance of 90 km from Chandigarh/ Panchkula, 100 kms from Dehradun (Uttrakhand) and 200 kms. from Delhi.
Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, & is recognized by AICTE and Govt. of Haryana. It was ventured with initial intake of 180 students only, but now the strength has soared to 1847.
Central library: Central library of HEC has been set up to cater the reading and learning needs of students which is open from 09:00 am to 09:00 pm and it has grown in size, collection and services and it is housed in a separate building in two blocks. The Library has 15000 sqft. covered area. The Library has its five branch libraries in the form of departmental libraries e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic & Communication Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Hostel:
The college has in campus itself, girls hostel which is home away from their home with utmost motherly care.Boys hostel is located just beside the college so that they can breath freely outside the college .
To provide a healty academic environment so that they always feel comfortable like at their homes the college provide separate hostels for boys and girls equipped with all the contemporary gadgets and amenities including internet facilities.
