The founder chairman of Devi Chand Memorial Charitable Society which established LDC Institute of Technical Studies in 2007 was Shri Chandra Mohan Gupta who was a leading businessman with high standing in automobile trading, a reputed social activist and above all a visionary. His vision was to provide professional education with ethics and corporate culture to both urban and rural youth,The academic ambience in LDc is best suited to create globally competitive professionals .It has evolved as a front ranking institution in the community of widely acclaimed schools of learning.

Central library: The library offers students an excellent selection of books and magazines on all the branches of engineering, basic sciences, professional communication and management. It has more than 30,000 books & audio-visual learning resources. The center is digitized with computerized Issue & Return of books, computer-assisted search of learning resources and Open-Access System. It has facility for Internet and Del-Net. Library subscribes to about 100 National & International Journals.

Hostel: The College has a three storey hostel for boys in campus, amidst plush green lawns. The rooms are spacious, well lit and adequately equipped with furnitures, which makes the stay comfortable. The hostel has all modern day amenities like 100% power backup, in house telephone, internet services, sports & recreational facilities. It also includes a large dining hall and common room for audio visual entertainment and reading facilities. The sports facilities include cricket, hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and some indoor games such as table tennis, carom, chess etc.

Presently the girl’s hostel is in the posh Civil Lines area of Allahabad with a view to the security and well being of the girl students. Free shuttle bus in deployed to ferry the students to the colleges.

The institute has a tie up with a local nursing home in Soraon and with another hospital in Allahabad to provide all kinds of medical facilities to the hostellers. A doctor of good standing visits the hostel twice a week as a matter of routine. A vehicle is stationed at the hostel at all times to provide for any emergency services.
