Campus: Inspired and motivated by the words of Hon’ble Former President Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, “Education is the prime mover of prosperity” and by the philanthropic urge of the trustees, LORD KRISHNA Group of Institutions (LKGI) has been established with a determination to nurture talents in the fields of Engineering Technology and Management. LKGI has two colleges under its banner Lord Krishna College of Engineering (LKCE), established in 2006 and Lord Krishna College of Management (LKCM), established in 2009. Both the colleges are approved by AICTE and affiliated to U. P. Technical University, Lucknow. The emergence of LKGI in U.P. is the fruit of an extensive effort to bring about a significant and practical application of technical education. Quality education has always been a necessity for socio economic growth and recognizing this while striving to fulfill it is what LKGI aims at.
Central library: The libraries at LKGI occupy over 40,000 square feet of area and provide access to a vast repository of resources, including books and periodicals to students and faculty. Our Central library is air-conditioned and well lit to provide ideal study environment. Libraries remain open until 10.00 PM on all days. During the examinations, libraries are open for nearly 24 hours. Completely automated library management system makes it possible to search, select and borrow books in no time as well as make reservations online. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available for reference in the library. Trained staff is always at hand to assist students. In addition to these resources, faculty members dynamically upload all their lectures and research notes on the LKGI Intranet. These are available to the students with the simple keying in of a password.
Hostel: A home away from home is the concept of our hostels. There are separate hostels for girls, senior boys and first year boys. These hostels have air-cooled rooms. Electricity is a major problem in Ghaziabad but we assure 24 hrs electricity by a captive power plant. There is 24 hrs Water supply. On every Saturday we send our hostlers to Ghaziabad for marketing/ Cinema etc. in especially hired buses. A Doctor visits the hostels daily to attend the ailing hostlers. In case of serious illness we provide the transport to the nearest hospital. Library facilities are provided for extended period for hostlers. Campus is Wi-Fi and Internet facilities are available throughout for 24 hrs. Cafeteria and shopping arcade is available to meet daily requirements and services. For getting better results faculty resides in hostels for guidance and free coaching. Home theatre, indoor and outdoor games are available. We provide guest rooms to the visiting parents of hostlers. Hostels are located within the campus of sixteen acres land along National Highway 24 away from city pollution. The environment in the hostels is conducive to studies, personality development and personal growth.
