Placements
Placements: The Institute believes that it is the combination of its students and its faculty, the academic vigor and all round development, comprehensive curriculum and the way in which it is delivered that makes us the institute of choice for international and domestic recruitment. The academic pedagogy of the course curriculum is made Complete through placement that introduces these budding managers to the corporate world environment. The Institute conducts various management, technical and cultural events to develop the all round personality of students by making them personally and professionally updated for the corporate requirements. Our Training and Placement Centre (TPC) broadly conducts the placement activities covering semester project work and final placement. The Institute’s Training and Placement Centre (TPC) assists eligible students in securing jobs and semester projects. For this purpose our TPC keeps effective contacts with the firms (India and abroad), maintaining and performing liaison work between possible employees and the Institute’s students.
Students must, however, note that the institute is a place for serious academic pursuit and not an agency to provide employment. No fee is charged for the service and no binding obligation to find a job/semester project for any student is accepted by the institute. To be eligible for semester project or placement service of the Institute, a student has to satisfy the following criteria: She/he has to secure an average of 60% marks; (2) she/he has to secure an attendance of 75% in all subjects; (3) she/he has to clear all fees due to the institute.

Institute of Informatics & Management Sciences has MCA, MBA while Radha Govind Engineering College, Meerut, has B.Tech. programs in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and M.Tech. Program in Computer Science and Engineering. These institutes has been converted into an Integrated Campus under the name Radha Govind Group of Institutions, Meerut in 2010-11. These institutes have been approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi and affiliated to G.B. Technical University, Lucknow., Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, GB Nagar (Formerly UPTU, Lucknow). Radha Govind Group of Institutions aims to be among the top ranking engineering institutes with a strong focus on techno-functional competency supplemented by comprehensive implementation, upgrade process and project management methodologies. Central library: The Library (Learning Resource Center) plays a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aids in learning & teaching activities. The primary purpose of the library is to support teaching, research, academic & management programs and collaboration with others. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, newspapers & periodicals, prescribed titles and the reference material. It observes working hours from 9am to 8pm on all working days. The Library ensures that students have not only their relevant course books and reference books but also have reading material that increases knowledge for an overall development of personality. The Library catalogue containing details of all titles is maintained for quick reference. A large number of National & International journals are also available on regular subscriptions from IEEE, IETE, IE, CSI, NISCARE, IISc, IIM, ICFAI and IIMB etc. We have subscribed more than 28 selected Journals/Magazines from IEEE. We are also a member of DELNET Developing Library Network, a major resource sharing library network in South Asia. This is being done to satisfy the major information requirements of students.

Hostel: All students of the college have been lodged in two separate hostels for boys and girls. The girls’ hostel is within the campus and is well cared for. Every effort is made that the girl students get homely ambience outside their homes. It is ensured that all their daily needs are met within the hostel vicinity. Staying at the campus allow students to avail Library & Computer Lab facilities till late hours. The boy’s hostel is 1 km far from the campus and is served by College Bus. There is 24 hours generator backup in all the hostel rooms and campus. The hostels have resident wardens. In winter, students are provided with the hot water through solar water heating plant and other associated facilities. We provide fully furnished, well ventilated airy rooms to make their stay comfortable. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities for sports and recreations such as T.V., outdoor games, indoor games etc. PCO/STD and Net surfing facilities are also available.
