Campus: Shri Baba Mast Nath Engineering College(SBMEC) is an engineering institute established in 1997 by ” SHRI BABA MAST NATH TRUST” in the memory of great Shri Baba Mast Nath who sacrificed his life at the altar of the freedom of his motherland.Since SBMNS very foundations are based on the dreams of a noble visionary son of India, its singular objective and mission is to facilitate and to promote studies, research and extension work with a focus on professional education in the emerging areas of higher education in the disciplines of engineering technology, management, computer applications etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and related fields, thereby to equip the students to become effective professionals with career prospects to meet the emerging global and industrial needs of the society and nation in the 21st century. Besides imparting knowledge needed for profession in technical field by careful instruction and guidance for self learning in both formal and informal modes, we at SBMNEC continuously keep monitoring the progress of our students through our class counselors.
Central library: The library services at SBMNEC are provided to the students, staff and faculty member for updating their knowledge and supporting the research, and teaching learning activities. These services are provided through the central library keeping in view the fast changes in Technology. The knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books, reports, proceeding, abstracts & indexes, encyclopedias, data books, standard Journals & data base on CD-ROM. Apart from adding the new literature the basic literature is also procured for the new Programmes along with current one. Some new section and services are also being started to make the library services of ISO 9001-2000 standard.
Hostel: Hostel accommodation for students on rolls shall be allotted to full-time day students by the college Hostel Committee. Application for hostel seats should be submitted in the prescribed form. No ex-student shall be allotted any hostel accommodation. Boys Hostel with a total capacity to accommodate 500 students, Girls Hostel with capacity to accommodate 500 girl students are presently available on the college campus. The allotment of accommodation to the boys and girls in the Hostel will be made on the following priority, subject to availability of seats in the hostels. Those with 15 km radius will not be provided Hostel Accommodation and the others will get Hostel accommodation as per the distance in between the college and their residence.
