The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. Our Placement Cell is mainly responsible for establishing effective contacts with various organizations with a view to assisting the students in securing jobs & arranging interviews for the students.

Central library: Library is the mirror of every institution and it reflects how serious an institute is towards the education of their students. SMS , Lucknow was started in 2008. Great care has been taken to see that the library should be one of the finest libraries of Management, Engineering & Technology in Lucknow. It is growing steady in the means of its resources, facilities and services. The library of SMS, Lucknow is modern and digital having Libsys Software. It has collection of almost all the types of documents available in various Medias, in the field of Management, Engineering & Technology.
Collection : The Library of SMS Technical Campus Lucknow at present has total collection of around 14000 books with 3000 number of titles. A part from this, there is also a significant collection of 90 journals (National and International) & also 164 Online Journals. Magazines and non print materials including 500 CD’s & DVD’s, etc. Books are basically organized by Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme and cataloguing is based on AACR-II.
Digital Liberary : SMS Library houses many items of academic interest including text books, reference books, scientific & technical journals, along with electronic & audio visual resources like CD-ROM, DVD, NPTEL and online journals on management, engineering & technology.
Users have full access to the complete range of Library resources with the help of Libsys software, e-Library facilities is also provided.
Hostel: SMS provides comfortable and well-furnished hostel accommodation both for boys and girls separately. Facilities for indoor & outdoor games and recreation are also available in the hostel premises, besides the Library and Reading Room facilities. The comfort level in the hostel rooms is comparable with the best institutes in the country.
A Mini Library is provided in each hostel premises to ensure availability of books round the clock to the hostel inmates.
