Central library:   The college library is designed on the pattern of library of IIT’s with emphasis on international journals and science and technological magazines. The library is being automated and is very soon to be digitalized with free access on the net. The library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents that is useful for the faculty, students and other users so that it can be regarded as one of the best technical libraries. The major objective of the library is to organize documents and to make them available to the users. In short, the library has a collection of 6000 books and 32 periodicals of international repute.Translam has a well stocked modern library. The library is kept open 14 hours on working days to inculcate the habit of reading and acquiring knowledge. On Sundays and holidays, it is kept open during the day time for 7 hours.

Hostel: The college has an excellent air-cooled hostel facility, available separately for both boys and girls with a comfortable boarding and lodging. The hostel is well equiped with all the facilities for the students such as T.V., Guest Room, and Common Room etc. To provide comfort and facility to the hostellers, 24 hours power supply to hostel is backed up by generators. The hostels are provided with kitchen facilities and phones. The hostels are managed by separate Wardens under a Chief Warden. The students are taken care by experienced wardens.
