Charanjit Singh Channi, presently the Chairman of CT Group of Institutions Jalandhar. Apart from this, he believes that growth of any economy, to a great extent, depends upon the educated work force of that country – as it is this force that have the capabilities to explore and execute new ideas, techniques and technologies for the growth and development of a country.

Placements: CT Group of institutions pins its faith on its Training & Placements for acting an interface between the industry and the academia. A competent and vibrant team under the able guidance and sterling support of Mr. Sanjeev Bhalla (Director-Training & Placements) shoulders the amenability for the mandatory industrial exposure and placements of the students. T&P liaisons with the industry for the industrial visits for a clear practical perspective of the theoretical concepts and experiential learning on latest trends by students apart from the major aspect of providing placements. Inviting eminent personalities from Government, Business and Academia for addressing students as to enrich their knowledge and establish a shared learning experience is another facet of T&P tasks. We value our industrial relations and wish to uphold the same.

According to him, these educated people do work as frontiers to spread the message of love, humanity and morality among the students, which is, at present also, the real need of today’s professional education world.

Central library:  The CT Group Campus Libraries with its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services fills an essential role for students and faculty in their intellectual pursuits. It is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The Library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Bio-Technology, Hotel Management & Airlines Tourism & Hospitality Management and allied subjects. The entire Library collection including the CD-ROM databases and the online databases are made available through Institute’s network. Users can access the online databases and also find out the real-time availability of library materials from their own computer terminals. The Library offers a range of information services to support the learning process set to the highest professional standards.

Hostel:  Separate Hostel facility is available for Boys and Girls.Aesthetically designed, the hostel blocks are spread around the campus. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three. Each of the blocks has a square in the center where badminton courts with good turf are maintained, with some blocks also having lawns in the square. Each hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions, table-tennis tables and carom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each block is also equipped with fully automatic washing machines and each floor is further equipped with landline phones, water coolers and water purifiers.

The individual rooms are furnished with teak cots and bedding, a computer table, chairs, closets and shelves. All rooms have full time wireless internet connectivity with direct lines to the main LAN. The housekeeping staff are available through the week and take care of cleaning the rooms, corridors and rest rooms on a daily basis. Dedicated mess facilities and round the clock canteen facilities are available in the hostels. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available and the pan-Indian menu is managed by the student body. Various other snacks, biscuits, chocolates, ice cream and soft drinks are available in the mess itself.
