    Teen from Bengaluru tops JEE-Mains 2014:

    All India Ranking List of JEE-Mains 2014 was declared on Tuesday, 8 july 2014.

    Over 10 lakh engineering aspirants appeared for the exam. The JEE (main) ranks will be used by central institutes (NITs and IIITs), among other colleges in India, for granting admission. The JEE (main) final All India Rank-2014 is based on a combination of JEE Mains scores (which accounts for 60% marks) and Class 12 results (which make up for the remaining 40%).

    According to the list published a student of Narayana PU College, Bangaluru, name Prabhu topped the all India list.

    Andheri's Parth Kothari topped the state in the exam with his score of 319 and secured an all-India rank of 11.

    He wants to join the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, to study computer science.
    Kothari scored a total of 331, which was normalized to 301 and his HSC score of 95.69% upped his overall marks to 319.His rank in the JEE (Advanced) is 458 and has already sought admission at IIT-Bombay for a dual degree in electrical engineering.
