    Just 15 days to go for the GATE 2015. Itís the high time for you to neglect every temptation alarming you and concentrate in your studies for the coming two weeks. The work hard you do now can really help you bring result with flying colours in the exam.

    Here are some tips or things you must do just 15 days before the exam.
    It does not matter whether you are applying the exam for higher studies or to get an entry to the PSU's, securing high marks or high ranks in the exam is what you need. Always remember your aim or what you want to see yourself in some 2-3 years from now. And do not let those dream to remain as dreams forever, it is the right time for you to convert your dream into reality.

    Regarding mode of preparations, as there is only 15 days left for the exam it will not be good idea to start a new topics. Just stick to what you have learnt and keeps on revising it until you are master in it. By now you must be familiar with the question pattern of the GATE if not then familiarize it.

    It is highly recommend a that you practice as many question as you can, it is not the time to continue studying the theory part but the applications based on numerical and questions. Practice as many previous year questions as you can. Its competition in competition the most important fact is the time management learnt how to optimize the time.

    This can be done by solving model questions or the previous year questions. While practicing you can set your alarm clock so that learnt the time management too. Moreover it will be wise idea to give mock test series for GATE. There are many websites or coaching institutes which provide free online test series, you can take those mock test series.     The rest is up to you, your exam result is directly proportional to how sincerely you prepare for it. There is no such thing as miracle in exam. You are the master of yourself, those people who tops exam are the same people like you. So if they can why can't you. Do your best, believe in yourself, you can do it.

    Well here is the Question Pattern of GATE 2015

    In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks are in General Aptitude (GA).
    Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) carrying 1 or 2 marks each in all papers and sections. These questions are objective in nature, and each will have a choice of four answers, out of which the candidate has to mark the correct answer(s).

    In the papers bearing the codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PI, TF and XE, the Engineering Mathematics will carry around 15% of the total marks, the General Aptitude section will carry 15% of the total marks and the remaining 70% of the total marks is devoted to the subject of the paper.

    In the papers bearing the codes AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH and XL, the General Aptitude section will carry 15% of the total marks and the remaining 85% of the total marks is devoted to the subject of the paper.

    Numerical Answer Questions of 1 or 2 marks each in all papers and sections. For these questions the answer is a real number, to be entered by the candidate using the virtual keypad. No choices will be shown for this type of questions.
