The Kiwis Dominated the English: CWC 2015
New Zealand dominated the match against England and won by 8 wickets in just 13 over. With this the Kiwis won their third match in this cricket world cup 2015 and top the Group A Table. This is also the fifth consecutive win over England in World Cup history.
The England team batted first but the batsman could not defend the magical spell of Tim Southee's seven for 33. The team managed to make a total of 123 and was all out at the 34th over.
New Zealand chased the total in just 13th over with 8 wickets in hand. McCullum’s 77 from 25 helped the Kiwis to win the match in the 13th over. Tim Southee's figure for seven for 33 was his career best.
Earlier England was also defeated by the host team Australia by 111 runs. England's batting line-up is strong on paper, but recent form has been a concern. The batsmen have been bowled out 12 times in the last 18 matches and average only 58.80 in the final 10 overs.
The player for both the team for the match is as follows:
New Zealand: Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Grant Elliott, Corey Anderson, Luke Ronchi, Daniel Vettori, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Trent Boult
England: Moeen Ali, Ian Bell, Gary Ballance, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, James Taylor, Jos Buttler, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, Steven Finn, James Anderson.
