For last four-five days the trending topic in the news and other media is about Save the Internet And Net Neutrality. Did you know what they really mean? Well, watch this video to know about the topics. The video which is almost 10 minute length was created by All India Bakchod (AIB) title "Save the Internet"

The video shows that the internet service provider and the government should not discriminate the users while using the site or the content or the platform of their choice. Internet service providers are trying to control the traffic of online users.

The topic got more concern when Bharti Airtel announced that the internet provider will be providing Airtel Zero. This service will give the user the option to access free service for particular apps or site.

Taking an example, Flipkart which is a part of the Airtel zero, so airtel users will not charge any data while accessing the official site of Flipkart and its apps. The provider also reveals that the charge of the data will be provided to Airtel by Flipkart. This is a sort of discrimination, as we know now is the age of internet and there are many people whose life line are similar business to the Flipkart, and they dont have enough money to pay the Airtel to buy the customers, so its like killing their business.

By net neutrality it means that the internet service provider has no right to know how you spend your data or control the speed of the internet while you are using site or the content or the platform of your choice.

Free and open Internet stimulates will help to prevent unfair pricing practices, promotes innovation, promotes the spread of ideas, drives entrepreneurship and most importantly protects freedom of speech.
