The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of the Joint Entrance Exam –Mains (JEE-Mains) 2015. JEE is the considered to be the toughest entrance exam in the country.
It is even said that getting admission to the IIT’s through JEE-Advance is even tougher than cracking Ivy League Colleges.JEE- Main is the admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).
In the 2015 more than 13 lakhs students have appeared for the exam and 1.5 lakhs have qualified for the JEE-Advance 2015 for seeking admission to the IIT’s. This year cut-off for JEE-Advance is lower than last year’s cut-off.

The JEE-Advance 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 2015. The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of 3 hours duration.Time:
- Paper 1 09:00 to 12:00 IST
- Paper 2 14:00 to 17:00 IST
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Therefore, JEE (Advanced) 2015 should be either the candidate’s FIRST attempt OR the SECOND consecutive attempt.
