Clean water is a precious resource that touches every aspect of our lives and for us to lead healthy lives. Water in its pristine form is available only in a few places in the world, is increasingly becoming scarce and most river basins are water stressed.

Water needs to be managed from its collection at source, to drinking water, wastewater, to its reuse and return to the environment. We need total water solutions to address questions like why is there such a high failure of water treatment and why is the quantity of waste water increasing. We need to provide decision support tools to urban local bodies to handle emergency water crisis situations in summer, during floods and droughts.

We can do many things to save water and get the maximum output from the available water sources. 1. being renewable energy- Hydro power can be installed wherever possible to generate the power at no operation cost.2. sewage treatment plant can be installed to reuse the waste water to the toilet flush. 3. Water harvesting system to save the water from rain for drinking and household purpose. 4. avoid wasting the drain water from filters by using it for water for plants and floor cleaning etc.
