  • BITSAT 2018 Exam, Application Form, Fee and Eligibility

    BITSAT 2018 is also referred as Birla Institute of Technology and Science. It is University level exam, conducted by BITS Pilani. This exam is a kind of online based entrance examination for the admissions to all degree courses offered by BITS and its other campuses. As BITSAT is an online test, the student appears in the test get to know their scores immediately after the completion of test. Nevertheless, the institute releases the score card separately, which can be downloaded by the candidate in the third week of May 2018.

    Every exam has its specific eligibility criteria that student has to meet to appear in the exam.

    Qualification Eligibility

    Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board with physics, chemistry and Mathematics.

    Appearing Students

    Students who have passed 12th exam in 2017, appearing in 2018 meets eligibility criteria.

    Percentage Criteria

    Students must have scored 75% in 12th Standard in PCM/PCB stream. Candidate must have obtained 60% marks individually in physics, mathematics/ Biology and Chemistry.


    BITSAT 2018 Application form has been released from 19th December 2017 via online mode.

    Fill the registration details i.e. Name, DOB, Gender, E-mail etc and submit it.

    Go ahead with the other details 12th exam score, basic detail, test centre preference etc.

    Make the application fee payment either through online or offline mode.

    Submit the application form, and don’t forget to keep the sphere printout of the application for further use.


    The application fees will be Rs 2450/- for female candidate and Rs. 2950/- for other candidates.

    Fee payment can be done through credit or debit card, net banking and cash payment at ICICI Bank.

    In case of choosing Dubai as an exam centre, student need to pay 70US $ (INR 4800) for both male and female candidates.


    Here’s the brief p of the exam pattern BITSAT:

    Duration - The duration of the exam will be exact 3 hours. ( Without Break )
    Exam mode – The mode of exam will be computer based .(online)
    Type of Questions – Exam will contain multiple type questions. MCQ’s.
    Marking Scheme – 3 marks is awarded for each correct answer and 1 marks is deducted for every wrong answer. This is known as Negative marking.
    Number of Questions –There are total 150 questions in the exam of BITSAT.


    As BITSAT is a graduate level university based exam so the syllabus totally rely on 11th and 12th standard NCERT level. The Syllabus comprise of

    Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English proficiency and Logical reasoning.


    Get the information of admit card for BITSAT 2018:-
    · The admit card shall be released through online mode..
    · Candidate can reserve their slot from 23rd March 2018 to 5th April 2018.
    · Admit card will be downloaded from 12th April to 10th May 2018.
    · Only successfully registered candidate will be able to download the admit card through the official website.
    · Student is not permitted to sit in the examination without the admit card.
    · The admit card contain the details like candidate’s name, exam date, Exam time and venue of the exam etc.


    The result will be declared through online mode. And Candidate can check the results by entering their roll no’s on the website. The result proceeds to admission process depending on the merit list.
