  • UPSEE 2018 Exam-Application Form, Fee Dates and Exam Pattern

    UPSEE stands for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. UPSEE 2018 examination dates have been revised. It is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all the technical institutions/colleges affiliated to AKTU. Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University UP is the main authority which monitors the AKTU/UPTU 2018 entrance exam. Admissions to various UG & PG courses are provided on the basis of merit obtained in UPSEE.     WHAT’S NEW IN UPSEE 2018?

    The UPSEE counseling 2018 will be conducted in three rounds wherein the student will have to register themselves for the first and second round. The counseling session will last In 10 days. As in 2017 the counseling was conducted in 5 rounds.

    UPSEE 2018 APPLICATION FORM


    • UPSEE 2018 Application form will be submitted via online mode only.
    • Application form can be filled on the official website of UPSEE.
    • Online application form will be available from the 3rd week of January 2018.
    • Candidate also has to upload the scanned images of signature, colored photograph and left hand thumb impression.
    • Applicants need to send the hard copy of filled in application form/document to the University.
    • Complete the application fee payment; candidate can take the print out of Confirmation Page for future use.


    UPSEE 2018 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2018 to appear for the exam. The criteria are listed below:


    • Candidate must have studied intermediate of UP board or 10+2 equivalent with Math & Physics as compulsory subject and option of Chemistry/biology/bio technology.( Opting for B.Tech)
    • They must have secured at least 45% of their qualifying exam 5% waiver for the reserved Quota.( SC ST)
    • Candidate must have cleared the exam without any grace marks in each of the compulsory subject
    • There is no age limit for UPSEE 2018.


    ADMISSIONS TO 2 YEAR UPSEE COURSES: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Passed 3 years diploma in engineering or B.sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2.
    Minimum 45% marks in qualifying exam (40% for SC ST)
    B.Pharm
    Diploma in Pharmacy
    Minimum 45% marks in qualifying exam (40% for SC ST)
    MCA
    BCA degree from recognized institutions.
    Candidate must have 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.(45% for SC ST)

    UPSEE APPLICATION FEES 2018

    UPSEE 2018 EXAM PATTERN

    Exam pattern is the crucial part of the preparation. It provides an overview about the question paper including exam mode, Number of questions, exam duration, marking scheme and many more as mentioned below:


    • Exam mode: Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3, Paper-4 are the OMR based paper i.e. offline mode. And rests are computer based test.
    • Total paper: The examination of UPSEE will comprise of 11 papers.
    • No. of Questions: Paper 1, 2, 3 will contain 150 questions, Paper-5, 6, 7, 8 will contain 75 questions and Paper-9, 10, 11 will have total 100 questions each.
    • Subjects: The subject varies according to paper
    • Exam duration: The exam duration is of 3 hours.
    • Marking scheme: Candidate will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and there is n negative marking for any of the wrong response marked by the candidate.
