  • What should be my Study plan to Crack the SBI Clerk 2018 in 30 Days?

    Having a career in a reputed bank is everyone’s dream. How would it be if you get a chance to work for SBI? Yes, one of the largest banks in India!! Every year, SBI is involved in recruitment drive calling for applications from graduates and other professionally skilled candidates to be a part of SBI family. Among them SBI Clerical and Probationary Officers are the ones receiving lakhs of applications year by year. There are quite a many aspirant preparing for these exams burning midnight oil, but it is impossible for SBI to select even the half of the applicants. So only the best of the whole lot can be chosen. Of course, this filtering process goes through many stages such as Preliminary, Mains and Interview.


    Some brilliant candidates even fail at the very first stage while some sail through first two stages and terribly fail at the interview. The candidates who make it to the final list are not only brilliant but also lucky. Yet, please do not think luck is the major factor here. It has to be strongly noted that hardwork, determination and perseverance are also equally significant. Now that SBI Clerical exam is approaching, it is high time every serious aspirant should understand there is no time to be wasted. Are you willing to invest in some quality hours thirty days before the exam although you are a full-time working or nonworking aspirant? If yes, here are a few tips, preparation strategy and study plan for you to ace the examination in thirty days.

    Examination Pattern

    There is no sectional cut off, but sectional time limit is definitely a part of the exam. So, time is the crucial factor to determine your success and without efficient time management it is very much impossible to clear the exam too. Learn to manage time right from your preparation days by allotting time for every section on a day today basis. A 10-hour schedule per day has to be followed by every candidate for finishing up the portions before the examination. There are many candidates who have got into the ranker’s list by just following a similar daily study plan. So, anybody can go for this tried and tested method even though you have not begun preparing for the exam seriously.

    Before finalising on your strategic plan for your studies, you must know the syllabus well. A clear distinction between ‘what ought to study’ and ‘what ought not to study’ has to be done welling advance. Collect the required sources of study so that you do not need to be nervous about the lack of study materials. Running for study materials every now and then is also a daunting process. This is apparently the first strategy of every successful candidate. Plus put a full stop to all kinds of distractions such as social media, television, internet etc. All that you should bear in mind is there are only 30 days with you and if you do your duty these days ignoring everything around you, victory is going to be all yours.

    Also put in an hour of your daily time table to practice mock tests and try giving a look at previous years’ question papers too. This would help you score know your merits and demerits so that you can improve your way of learning in course of time too. Besides that, it will also help your confidence and determination go peak high. The given study plan can be altered in accordance with your calibre. If you think you are good at Numerical ability, but worse in English the hours to be invested in English needs to be maximum. So, prepare your study plan intelligently.

    You must take short intervals in between every topic so that you will have a fresh mind to begin the next topic. Take necessary notes and make a note of important formulae, short cuts and techniques too. The more you write the formulae, the more it would get stored in your memory. Memorising them during the examination time would not be a tough task for you too. Keep revising the portions for the last 8-9 days out of the thirty days ahead of the exam. If possible, after every 6 days try to find some quality hours to do a quick weekend revision. Also pay attention to go through your notes whenever possible.

    The remaining days before the exam should be utilised for thoroughly attempting the online mock tests and topic-level quizzes.
