  • NEET Exam 2019-Important Dates, Eligibility and Syllabus

    National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted by National Testing Agency. NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is a national level Entrance test. NEET 2019 dates are out.Application for NEET 2019 would be out on 1 November 2018 and would close on November 30 2018. NTA (National Testing Agency) would conduct this exam. The forms would be available on NEET 2019 is the only National Level Entrance Exam. This Examination open for students to take admission in any medical college in India. More than 13 lakh students apply for this examination every year.

    NEET 2019 Exam Important Dates

    The application, admit card and examination dates are out now for NEET 2019.

    • Application forms for NEET 2019 will be out on 1st November 2018
    • Last date to submit application form would be 30th November 2018
    • Admit Card for NEET 2019 will be out on 15h April to all the students who filled up the application form according to the criteria mentioned
    • The Exam date will be 5th May 2019
    • The counselling after the declaration of Result will start in Jun/July 2019

    NEET 2019 Exam Eligibility Criteria

    • The minimum age of a student should be 17 years as on 31st December 2019
    • Maximum age limit for general category students is 25 years
    • Maximum age for SC/ST candidates is 30 years.
    • Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) & Foreign Nationals areall eligible to apply for NEET 2019.
    • Aadhaar Number is now not mandatory to apply for NEET 2019.
    • Student should be 10+ 2 pass with subjects Physics, Chemistry , Biology and English
    • 50% is the minimum percentile for NEET 2019

    NEET 2019 Exam Syllabus

    • Early planning can help to a great extent in preparing and clearing NEET 2019. Students basically have 1 year to prepare for this examination of NEET. Students should plan their studying schedule accordingly. Know your NCERT is the basic mantra for NEET preparation as it adds a lot more to the preparation of the exam,

    • Mode of NEET 2109 is offline mode through pen and paper.
    • Exam duration would be of 3 hours
    • All the questions would be Objective type
    • Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG.
    • There would a total of 180 questions.

    • 4 marks would be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark would be deducted for every incorrect answer.

    • The test would basically have three sections, physics, chemistry and Biology.
