Robot ethics attempt to apply human ethics to robots. It explores the key questions of how to create robots that do not harm humans and who to hold responsible. If they do. One argument states that the robots creators should hold responsibility for what the robots do.
But the issue is not so black and white, particularly when it comes to lethal robots. Robots that are designed for military use whose purpose is to harm, even kill humans, cannot fall into the category of regular robot ethics. What do we do then, and how do we ensure ethics in lethal robots?
