Photoshop CS6 'beta' now available - Improved UI with a new video editing feature
Adobe launched Photoshop CS6 yesterday and they are providing its beta version for free to take feedback of users before its final launch. It will be available commercially as creative suit 6 in a few months.
This version of Photoshop will be in 64 bit configuration only. Photoshop CS6 has more than 60% features than CS5 and most of them are from the customer’s feedback so it is more intellectual and attractive for users who are using CS5. For the developers, Adobe is giving some interesting features, viz., video editing capabilities, improved 3D modeling and a new UI. Lets check out each of the new feature in CS6 in detail:
Amazingly fast performance and a new UI
Experience unprecedented performance with the Mercury Graphics Engine, which gives you near-instant results when you edit with key tools such as Liquefy, Puppet Warp, and Crop Plus, a refined, fresh, and elegant Photoshop interface features dark background options that make your images pop.
Video Editing Capability
With this new feature you guys can edit any video so it is most exciting and highlighted feature in Adobe Photoshop CS6. Video editing capabilities have been designed to be more intuitive for the lay person while performance is markedly improved because of its new Adobe Mercury Graphics Engine.
Improved 3D Modeling Feature
Adobe Photoshop has new 3D feature keeps getting better, and the developers have taken things up several notches with this new release.
Layer Search Function
Photoshop CS6 adds a Layer Search function and the use of vector layers to apply—for the first time—strokes, dashed lines, and gradients to vector objects. Other tweaks include the ability to simultaneously change the blend mode of and to duplicate multiple layers. You can also now see opacity, fill, and blend modes of hidden layers. And you can now simultaneously change layer styles and effects for all layers in a group.
Improved Content Aware Feature
In past versions of Photoshop, Adobe introduced the concept of content-aware image technology, in which edits can take into account the relationship between objects and elements in an image. This lets you edit in an intuitive way with more realistic looking results.
Improved Content aware patch
This feature in Photoshop is also improved a lot. If u choose a sample area u want to patch and then watch Content-Aware Patch magically blend pixels for a stunning result.
Re-engineered Design Tools
This is a new feature added by Adobe in Photoshop CS6. It Create superior designs fast. Get consistent formatting with type styles, create and apply custom strokes and dashed lines to shapes, quickly search layers, and much more.
