DTU Students bags annual package of 6 Million at a US based Firm
The session 2012-2013 started this August in Delhi Technological University (DTU) students and so far 46 companies have visited the campus. As per the current stats the placement is going great in the University.
EPIC, US based software company, has offered highest package of the current session that is 1,05,000 USD (60 Lakh INR approx) annually to Mr. Tanuj Mittal, a 4th year student of Department of Software Engineering, DTU, Ms. Neha Das, 4th year student of Department of Software Engineering, Mr. Sumit Dugar, 4th year student of Department of Software Engineering, Ms. Meenal Bansal, 4th year student of Department of Information Technology, Mr. Akash Mittal, 4th year student of Department of Computer Engineering and Mr. Miland kumar, 4th year student of Department of Computer Engineering, In addition four students have been offered pay package of 20 Lakh INR from Directi (Mumbai based Company).
DTU started B.Tech in Software Engineering in 2009 and students are being placed in international companies of high repute, informs Dr. Ruchika Malhotra, Assistant Professor, Department of Software Engineering.

The companies which have visited DTU includes Facebook, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, DE Shaw, smartcube, Delloitte, Cosmic Circuits, Futures First, Maruti, Oracle , Google, Cisco, Brahmos Aerpspace, ZS Associates, Directi, Tata Motors, Indian Navy, C-Dot, TCS, Caterpillar, Jindals Group, Mahindra, Honda, Bechtel, informs Neeraj Nimwal, Placement Officer, DTU.
A major highlight of this year’s placement is that the leading companies besides making job offers to the final year students are also offering paid internship to the 3rd year students. This shall further enhance the industry interface, prepare students for the technology challenges of the industries and in turn shall assure even better Pre-Placementjobs offers for the students.
