  • Swipe telecom launches India's first Dual-SIM tablet

    Swipe telecom, a US based telecom firm has launched India's first dual-SIM android tablet, the Swipe Tab All in One. This comes at a time when the low-cost tablet demand in the country is is seeing a sharp rise. The main feature of this tablet, is it's dual-SIM capabilities that let's you use two 3G-enabled SIM cards for data usage as well as voice calls. The 7-inch tablet runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and features a capacitive touchscreen display with a 5 point multi touch. Surprisingly, this low cost tablet features an HD diplay (1024 x 768 pixels), which is a big plus for a tablet at this price point. Talking about the performance, the tablet has got a powerful 1.5 GHz processor with 1GB RAM that should make this tablet pretty smooth to use. The Swipe Tab All in One gets a 2 Megapixel rear camera, a 1.3 megapixel frontcamera and an internal storage of 8 GB which can be increased by up-to 32GB using a micro-SD card. For connectivity, there's Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0 and GPS with voice based navigation in addition to the dual-SIM 3G capabilities.
    Though the Swipe Tab All in One is priced a tad bit higher than it's competition, but it offers some neat features that are worth that extra-buck you spend. Available in a chocolate brown color with velvet finish, the Swipe tab All in One houses a massive 4000 mAh battery that will surely keep the tab up and running for long! The company has priced the tablet at Rs. 11,999. At this price, the Swipe All in One tab offers great value for money and much better features than most of the other tablets at this price.
