    provided.

    •Entry fees is 300/- (refundable after performance) Street Theatre
    •Play can be in Kannada, Hindi or English.

    Art Events

    1.Sketching

    •Sheets will be provided
    •Shading pencils can be used
    •Charcoal, colour pens etc are not allowed
    •Topic will be given on the spot
    •Duration-2 hours

    2.Pot Painting

    •Pots will be provided
    •Posters or acrylic paints can be used. Glitter, pieces of glass or any sharp objects not
    allowed
    •Duration -2 hours

    3.Cartooning

    .•Topics will be given on the spot
    • Only black and white cartoons to be created
    • Color pens not allowed
    •Criteria for judgement: Content art and humor
    •Duration- 2hours

    4.Painting

    •Sheets will be provided
    •Any medium can be used
    •Crayons not allowed
    •Topic: On the spot
    •Duration 2 hours

    5.Collage

    •3 members per team
    •Sheets and glue will be provided
    •Required magazines and newspapers will have to be brought
    •Blades and scissors not allowed
    •Altering the given sheet by cutting or burning is not allowed
    •Topics on the spot
    •Duration 3 hours

    6.Graffiti

    •3 member team
    •Only one team per college
    •A limited space on canvas/wall will be provided
    •Spray cans, paints and colour pens are allowed
    •Criteria for judgement: Content of social concern, creativity and overall appearance
    •Duration 2 hours

    7.Rangoli

    •Traditional and modern both allowed
    •3 participants per team
    •Materials are to be brought by participants (white chalk powder will be provided colours to be brought by participants)
    •Sieves and other such instruments are allowed
    •Geometric instruments not allowed
    •Duration 3 hours

    8.Trash to Cash

    •Solo event
    •Materials are to be brought by participants
    •Usage of only waste material allowed
    •Duration of 2 hours

    9.Photography

    1. The photographs must be relevant to the theme of the fest, “The Green Frame”.
    2. The photographs can be submitted by any student who holds a valid college ID card.
    3. A maximum of 3 Photographs can be submitted per student.
    4. The photo uploads will be enabled on the In-Bloom Facebook Page from 9am 1st to 12pm of the 4th of February. The photos must be uploaded there, in high resolution, “and” must also be mailed to (  ) in full resolution. Details of the photograph must be mentioned in both the places. These details would include camera used, location of photo and EXIF.
    5. The students submitted their entries must have clicked the photographs themselves and using works of others, in part or full, will immediately disqualify them from the contest.
    6. The photographs that are submitted should be as captured, with minimal or no editing at all. Minimal editing would be converting photos to black and white, cropping and/or straightening to obtain a better frame only.
    7. The photographs may be used by Christ University for display or publication purposes, but when used so, due credits to the photographer shall be given.

     

    10.Short Film

    1. The videos submitted must be relevant to the theme of the fest, “The Green Frame”.
    2. The videos can be submitted by any student who holds a valid college ID card.

    3. One Video can be submitted per student, and the video must be of a minimum of 3 minutes and can go up to a maximum of 5 minutes.

    Literary events

    1.Ad Zapp

    •2 members per team and 4 minutes performance time
    •Individuals are given products on the spot and are expected to come up with an advertisement.
    •Participants will be judged on the basis of humour, creativity, diction and style.
    •No profane language is permitted.

    2.Pictionary – Dumb Charades

    •3 members per team.
    •Standard DC and Pictionary rules apply
    •Other rules and criteria based on judges’ discretion

    3.Debate

     

    Stage events

     

    1.Indian Music

    •All participating band members should be bonafide college students
    and must belong to the same college
    •20 minutes for performance and 5 minutes for set up and dismantling
    •Negative marks for exceeding time limit
    •Minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 members per band
    •Each band gets an opportunity to play only once in the competition
    •Bands need to bring their own instruments. Drum kit will be provided
    for all bands
    •Abusive language and misbehaviour on and off stage will lead to disqualification
    •The decision of the jury is final and binding

    •Individual prizes for the following categories:

    a.Best Band
    b.Best original composition
    c.Best vocalist
    d.Best Guitarist
    e.Best bassist
    f.Best drummer
    g.Best Keyboardist

    2.Western Acoustic

    •Maximum 10 members per team and minimum 5 members per team
    •Prize categories:
    a.Best Vocalist
    b.Best Song
    c.Best Team
    •Time limit 20 minutes (15+5) on and off stage

    3.Western Electric

    •All participating band members should be bonafide college students and must belong to the same college
    •25 minutes on and off stage •Negative marks for exceeding time limit
    •Minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 members per band
    •Each band gets an opportunity to play only once in the competition

    4.Mime

    •Team should consist of minimum 3 and max 8 members
    •There should be no speech in the entire performance
    •Time limit 7+1 minutes
    •One musical instrument maybe used. Keyboard if used, can be in piano or acoustic mode
    •No vulgarity or obscenity in actions
    •NO props allowed
    •Only one team per college

    5. Movie spoof

    •This event is to spoof any movie(s)
    •Teams should consist of 3-8 members. •Dialogues can be said only by the narrator and not the onstage participants
    •Time limit 7+1
    •One musical instrument maybe used. Keyboard if used, can be in piano or acoustic mode •No Props or recorded music allowed

    6 Beat Boxing

    •Single participant event
    •Time – max 5 mins.
    •Absolutely no accompanying instrument or digital / analogue processors shall be allowed
    •Only pure vocal groves  and beat boxing shall be judged

    7.Indian Dance

    Indian Classical Dance

    •minimum 5,Maximum 10 members per team
    •Time limit 8+ 2 minutes (on and off stage)
    •No fire and dust to be used on or off stage
    •Minimum props allowed
    •Judges’ decision is final

    -Theme Dance

    •Maximum 10 members per team and minimum 5 members per team
    •Time limit 8+ 2 minutes (on and off stage)
    •Theme is to be chosen by participants
    •No fire and dust to be used on or off stage
    •Minimum props allowed
    •No Lyrical content in the music
    •Judges’ decision is final

    -Non Theme Dance

    •Maximum 10 members per team
    •minimum 5 members per team
    •Time limit 6+1 minutes (on and off stage)
    •No fire or dust to be used on or off stage
    •Minimum props allowed
    •No fusion and remix allowed
    •Vulgarity or obscenity of any sort will lead to disqualification
