Besides making a serious endeavour to spread knowledge on robotics and its diverse applications, where the TEAM stands true to its meanings- “Together Everyone Achieves More”.It is this exemplary virtue that has bound the club and helped it to grow to its present potential.
The club has created a sensation and is proud to be the first of its kind among all the engineering colleges of south Orissa. Having been established in august 2008, the club today is a active platform for students to display and develop their practical machine building skills and practical knowledge.Today, there are more than 500 members in SARS who regularly participate at the college level and national level techfests and win a lot of robotic competitions adding glory to SARS and GIET. Continuous efforts are being put into further improvement of SARS in each and every dimension.

How to reach the college :
Gunupur is well connected both by rail and road. Around 120 buses connect Gunupur directly with
Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Jeypore, Nawarangpur, Sunabeda, Rayagada, Bhawanipatna, Indravati, Damanjodi, Umerkote etc. in Orissa and Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulum etc. in Andhra Pradesh. It has got the rail connection that links Gunupur with Naupada, a junction on Howrah Chennai route. Work is in full progress to convert this line into broad gauge. Express trains like Bokaro Allepy, Samata, Samaleswari etc link Gunupur via Rayagada and trains like Howrah – Chennai Mail, Guwahati-Coachin Express, Falaknuma Express and all other south bound trains link Gunupur at Palasa, by College bus.
