Fest Info:	Quark, the annual techno-management festival of BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus, has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2006 and has made a name for itself as an avant- garde technical festival. With a plethora of events, talks, workshops, and exhibitions, Quark strives to ignite minds and celebrate a shared passion for knowledge.�A Cosmic Odyssey�, the theme for Quark 2016, promises a fest like never before. This year, Quark explores the most fundamental questions about the universe, in a grand journey through space and time. Quark 2016 has an exciting lineup of guest speakers and performers in store. A few names from the impressive list of scientists, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers include Stephan Pastis (creator of the immensely popular Pearls Before Swine comic strips), Sanjay Jha (national spokesperson of Indian National Congress), Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan (former ISRO chairman), and Sambit Bal (editor-in-chief of ESPNCricinfo). This year, Quark is offering a host of workshops that will surely be a tremendous learning opportunity for every participant. These paid workshops are in diverse areas, such as Rasberry Pi Face Detection, Cyber Forensics, Automotive Design, and much more.Events organized under various panels make Quark a fest that has something interesting to offer everybody who participates. Corporate events are the true test for entrepreneurs, while various RC machine building and racing events call for engineers and design enthusiasts. Electrical and electronics design and coding events, app design and hackathons, and robotics events cater to various topics of interest. Initiatives panel events look for solutions to social problems. Quizzes, gaming contests, literary events, and much more ensure that nobody is left disappointed this Quark.
