Application Process & Supporting in AustraliaDocuments

The Application process generally is the same for most of the Universities however it may vary slightly from one University to other.

Faadooengineers assists the students to compile and process all the necessary documents to be sent to the Universities & Institutes. Our Counselor will inform the student as soon as an offer letter is sent from the University. The Universities generally take approximately 2 days to 4 weeks to respond and to process an application. Hence we advise the student to apply as soon as possible.

The documents required for the admissions and for the assessment are- all academic mark sheets and passing certificates of previous studies, work experience letters (if applicable), reference letters, IELTS/TOEFL/PTE score card to assess English proficiency, ID pages of passport. Additional documents (Statement of purpose and CV) can be asked by the University if required depending on the course you have selected.

Student Visa in Australia

Under Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP), a student is required to submit certain documents like Student Eligibility Checklist, Financial Declaration Form, Pre Visa assessment Form at the time of submitting the application for admission to meet Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE). Incorrect or incomplete checklists will not be processed by the universities and may lead to delay in processing your applications. Your counselor will provide you all the forms and will submit the same to the University for the Assessment.

Deadlines & Intakes:
Australia generally has two intakes in a year i.e. February/March and July/ August,

UCAS Deadlines

  • 15 October for medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses and all courses at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate courses are usually for the duration of 4 years.

As a general guide universities look at a percentage of about 75% to 85% for admissions at undergraduate level, however Institutes of Technology (IOTs) are more flexible while admitting students.

Universities and Institutes of Technology (IOTs) would accept the Indian 12th standard, however % levels required to gain admission will vary depending upon the course and institution that you wish to study at.

Postgraduate

Postgraduate courses are usually for the duration of 1 year.

As a general guide universities look at a percentage of 60% and above, however for Institutes of Technology (IOTs) are more open to admitting candidates with varied backgrounds. Not all IOTs will offer PG courses and also courses across all interest areas. IOTs will also offer mostly courses that are built based on the requirements of the industry.

Universities and Institutes of Technology (IOTs) would accept the degrees from recognized Indian universities, however percentage levels required to gain admission will vary depending upon the course and institution that you wish to study at.

  • Proof of sufficient funds for the whole course of your studies. This is the same amount for each subsequent year.
  • Medical insurance.
  • A valid passport for at least 6 months after completion of your course.

GNIB CARD

All Indian students must register in person with the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) after arrival and after completion of registration at the institution of choice if their stay in Ireland is for more than 90 days. The visa that you get is your permission to enter Ireland. Once you register at your institution, you get a set of documents to be presented to GNIB which grants your student visa.
