DTU, has a rich tradition of creating a talent pool of its enlightened students, professionals from the industry and eminent academicians from other leading institutions. A delegation headed by Robinder Sachdev, Program Director, Global Leadership Program (GLP) in India for Hitachi Japan visited Delhi Technological University today 19 October, 2012 to explore the opportunities for collaboration.

Hitachi Japan has launched a massive program to expose their executives to upcoming economies like India, Indonesia and Srilanka, in this regard the delegation came to DTU to develop relations and academic association with Delhi School of Management, DTU. The objective of the program is to expose Hitachi executives from Japan to the Indian society, culture and business protocol and practices in India, for a period of 5-weeks, commencing from November 12, 2012.

The Delegation was received by Prof. P.B Sharma, Vice Chancellor of D.T.U. and Prof. S.K Garg, HOD, Delhi School of Management (DSM), DTU. Prof. P.B Sharma, Vice Chancellor of D.T.U said in meeting that, “International Tie Up with leading Science and Technology shall foster new horizons of research and innovations at DTU”.

“DTU will receive full delegation of Hitachi executives in last week of November to share their experiences. This interaction will help students of DTU to explore global business dynamics and provide opportunities for internship in Japan,” informed Prof. S.K Garg, HOD, Delhi School of Management, DTU. Faculty members and students of DSM were present in large numbers.
