IIT-B faculties to be trained to use Aakash tablets
The teaching staff of engineering institutes will now be trained to use Aakash tablet more effectively for betterment of education. The low-cost indigenous Aakash tablet is expected to revolutionize the education throughout the country.
IIT Bombay will conduct a two-day workshop starting from November 11 for teaching faculties in engineering colleges under the National Mission on Education through Information and Technology (NME-ICT). The workshop is aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of faculties.
Training will be imparted upon teaching staff of 8 engineering colleges in Bhopal. The IIT Bombay will impart training upon 15 colleges in Madhya Pradesh including 8 in Bhopal. In Bhopal, the workshop will be held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), IES College of Technology, Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Oriental College of Technology, Truba, Bansal Institute of Research and Technology and NRI Institute of Science and Technology.
