Teachers of Delhi Technological University have come up with fresh allegations of gross violation of rules in recruitment in March-April 2012.

The teachers are alleging that neither the new posts were sanctioned by the government nor did the university have the required approval of the academic council for the eligibility conditions for faculty positions.

The new allegations come few days after lieutenant governor Tejendra Khanna had asked DTU to withdraw the order replacing professors heading several departments with newly recruited teachers on probation. The vice chancellor is yet to comply with the directive.

"The recruitment process has been as per statues of the university and the process is under no inquiry," said vice chancellor P B Sharma. The dispute will now be placed before the Borad of Managament.

In September, the directorate of training and technical education, Delhi government, has issued a showcause notice to DTU and ordered an inquiry against the recent recruitment at associate professor and professor levels.
