Nokia has missed the opportunity to bring its flagship Lumia 920 to India in time for all the Diwali shopping. But fans still have something to cheer about: The Finnish manufacturer has slashed the price of its 41 mp monster-camera 808 PureView from 32 grand to Rs 25,000.

Announced in February, the Symbian Belle handset had no fancy quad-core CPU or 5" screen. But thanks to its extraordinary snapper, the 808 PureView was chosen as the Best New Mobile Handset, Device or Tablet by the jury at the MWC (2012). We received a review unit, and pitted it against the Canon EOS 550D. Surprisingly, the 808 matched the DSLR's quality in good lighting conditions.
