Announcement of exam dates for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnatakar (COMED-K UGET) is expected to be conducted in the month of May 2013. The COMED-K UGET entrance exam is expected to be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013.

The COMED-K entrance test is mandatory for candidates seeking admissions into under graduate courses (MBBS, BDS, BE, BArch) in COMED-K member institutions subject to the eligibility as prescribed by MCI/DCI.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State/Central Government.

Paper Pattern:

The Common Entrance Test COMEDK UGET 2013 consists of four papers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Physics and Chemistry is the combined paper which will be compulsory for all the candidates who appearing for Comedk UGET. There will be a total of 120 objective type questions 60 questions from each subject. The test duration for combined paper is 120 minutes and is compulsory for all candidates seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS and B.E courses.
Mathematics is the compulsory subject for the candidates who are willing to take admission into B.E and Biology is the compulsory subject for the candidates who are willing to take admission into MBBS/BDS. The test consists of 60 questions from each with duration of 60 minutes. Candidates are free to choose any one or both the subjects.
Candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet (Optical Mark Reader).

Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) of any question.
There will be no negative marking.

However, in the event of a tie in the score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adapted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adapted to break ties.
