IIM C kick starts its international marketing meet on Friday
The second edition of MARCON 2012 – The Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta’s international marketing conference is being organized for the end of the month.
The meet, which will stretch over three days, will begin on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the IIM – C campus. The conference will center on the theme – sustainability and marketing to socially connected customers.
MARCON, 2012 hopes to bring together visionaries, leading minds in the field and top practitioners from marketing and other social sciences. It aims to start a dialogue between these participants that will significantly add to current marketing theory and practice.
Over 225 papers, from more than ten different countries, have been received by the committee in charge of organizing MARCON, 2012. Out of these, the committee has selected 150 papers to be presented over the span of the conference.
MARCON, 2012 will play host to participants from countries around the world such as the US, the UK, Bangladesh, Iran and Turkey.
