Ppt 32 Static Induction Thyristor (SITH) - PPT & Report

    Introduction:-

Static induction thyristor (SITH) is a new kind of a high power, high frequency power semiconductor device based on the static induction effect proposed by Nishizawa. SITh belongs to the family of “static induction devices”.

An induced electrostatically potential barrier controls the current in static induction devices. The injection of the carrier is controlled by the electro-static field around the gate.
