Fee Structure For Engineering 2013:


Rajasthan Technical University was setup in 2006 by Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in the state. The university has been established in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota.

The University offers almost all the disciplines related to technical education including Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The university currently affiliates about 135 Engineering Colleges, 35 MCA Colleges, 142 MBA Colleges, 08 M.Tech Colleges and 03 Hotel Management and Catering Institute. More than 1 Lac students study in the various institutes affiliated to the University.
The University aims to provide quality technical education which may help Rajasthan in the field of technical development and will boost technical environment in the country. The Honb'le Governor of Rajasthan is the Chancellor, and Prof. R. P. Yadav is the Vice-Chancellor of the University.


Boys Hostel:
The boys hostel has initial capacity for 300 students. The students taking admission in 1st year are encouraged to reside in hostel so that they are safe from ragging. Each student is provided with an almirah, cot, table & chair as well as English & Hindi newspapers. There is T.V. & sports(both indoor & outdoor games) for their entertainment. There is inhouse zym for those who want to keep themselves fit & healthy and 24 hrs Telephone & Internet facility. They are given three times meals per day & special diet on weekends. There is 24 hrs facility for security guard.

Girls Hostel:
The girls hostel has capacity for 125 students. Each student is provided with an almirah, cot, table & chair as well as English & Hindi newspapers.The students are taken care by providing daily three meals, T.V. for their entertainment and inhouse zym to keep them healthy. Sweet dish and special diet are provided on satardays & sundays. The hostel timings are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The students are also provided with 24 hrs. telephone & Internet facility. There is a movement register for the inmates which is strictly followed. The hostel is guarded by 24 hrs security guard.

The Training and Placement Cell
The college has a separate Training and Placement cell managed by a dedicated team. The cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. The Training and Placement cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the students. The Training and Placement cell guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible helps and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. The cell also prepares placement brochure in print and electronic format and further distribution to relevant industry and job providers.
Aims &Objectives

  • To achieve maximum possible placements for students.
  • To guide students on various interview techniques, group discussions, aptitude tests.
  • To put Government Engineering College Jhalawar on the ‘Definite’ list of all top companies of India.

The institute is equipped with a conference hall for holding Pre-Placement Talk, well furnished rooms for conducting interviews. The Placement Office is fully computerized it uses desktop computers and Institute LAN facility for placement data handling and communication.
