Sports: The College provides excellent facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. It takes meticulous care of the health of the students and instills discipline into learners. While Annual Sports extravaganza draws out the best sporting talents, regular games and sports all the year round help our students maintain sound physical and mental health. Moreover, the college gymnasiums cater to the needs of fitness freaks.
Cultural activities: The College encourages, patronizes and sponsors cultural activities in order that students do not forget to respond to their creative urges in their mad pursuit of career building. Many of our students are all rounders. Apart from their good university results they have an uncanny ability to organize cultural events at a very short notice. We have no dearth of actors, dancers, musicians among our students and so events like Freshers’ Welcome, College Fests, Saraswatu Puja, Viswakarma Puja, Republic Day, Independence Day, Farewell for Final Year Students, to name only a few, are some of the biggest draws in our college where students find a chance to display their organizational capacity and leadership potential.
Apart from these events, there are Drama Club, Tech Club, Debating Society etc. to inspire the students to keep alive the creative spark in them.
Rainbow, Rahul Foundation’s newsletter is regularly brought out to give an update on the academic and research activities of the college to some two hundred institutions, software companies and employment agencies. The newsletter is about to complete three years of its circulation.
Ripples, the college magazine, isan annual venture ofDIATM students that captures their moods and thoughts. While technical articles carried by it show the grasp of the learners’ technical material, poems, stories, sketches, travelogues etc. give a truly literary flavour about the magazine. Many of our students have shown exceptional literary sensibilities and perceptiveness. In fact, we try to foster better literary appreciation in our students through the publication of the magazine.Similar Threads:
