Have you ever thought of a class of air vehicles which are less than 15 cms in size (most prominent linear dimension), can hover for two to three hours in air at a velocity of 20 to 30 mph at an altitude of 600 meters or even higher. This seminar will give you an idea of such vehicles called MAV’s (micro air vehicles).

A dwell into the design and aerodynamics of such vehicles would be quite interesting. It should be noted that its aerodynamics resembles the aerodynamics of insects rather than that of conventional aircrafts. The aerodynamics and design procedure will be elucidated in this seminar. This seminar will also provide you an account of control, propulsion, communication and navigation of micro air vehicles.
