and one more thing, i am from cbse board, so my migration certificate hasnt been dispatched by the board, it will take one more month so wt shd i do???

You will get it during admission.
I guess then you have to fill some form stating that by this date you have to submit it or else admission stands cancel.

I've heard about MBA-tech of nmims, but what about B-tech? and you have mentioned first going for Btech and then MBA-tech. We can do that? and what is the criteria? My mum's going frantic saying that nmims is known for MBA-tech and not Btech, but if Btech there is good, then i don't see why i shouldn't go for it.

Well NMIMS is known for only MBA and not MBA-Tech.
Well BTech Shirpur is just OK thats y the tutions fees is 1.25 L.
There are chances that you can get mbatech shirpur but i guess only for mbatech civil..
It all depends on how low is the 1st counselling cutoffs

I have got merit no. 2393 in NMAT(T), seems i have very less chances of gettin ne f d cources in both d campuses..

go for BTech Mumbai first then try for MBA-Tech Shirpur

First of all there is no GDPI. Its counselling in which there is direct admission no interview or group discussion.
At this rank difficult to get in mbatech mumbai and shirpur.. you might get mbatech civil shirpur nothing else that too not in 1st counselling

Well your rank is too low for that. I am 100% sure that there is no Interview . It was there before but now it not there.

Slightest of slightest chances for mbatech it shirpur... still i cant say now it all depends on how merit list goes..

Yes you counselling also not in 1st day . It is in the last date so you will get a fair amount of idea of the cutoffs.

BTech Elex/Civil Mumbai during 1st counselling
BTech IT/Civil Shirpur during 1st counselling
Afterwards you might get BTech Comp Shirpur , BTech IT Mumbai
Also good chances gor MBA-Tech Civil Shirpur l8r

In that case, how is Btech mumbai? when i asked about B.tech shirpur here, i was told that it was only SO-good (i.e. not that good as its other courses), so i was wondering if it was the same for mumbai.

In my opinion all course which are there in mumbai and shirpur both in that mumbai has a slight edge over shirpur.

If I'm open to go to Shirpur then what should be my preference of choices MBA-Tech (Mum) / B.Tech (Mum) / MBA-Tech ( Shirpur) / B.Tech ( Shirpur) or something else.
