I wanted to ask what is the average percentage that ecah student scores in mba tech mechanical first trimester? Also What does the top scorer usually get?

Those who pass in each trimester will have minimum 50% in each subject so overall by logical 50%.
There is no trend as of such. Try to score 70%+ so that you get a good gpa.
gpa is given on subject basis and not overall basis . A student who gets 4gpa in each and every subject then only he gets 4ga for that trimester exam.
A student who gets highest total from addition of all subjects is not necessary that he will get 4gpa because he might have score less than others in one particular subject.
Getting good marks requires good internal marks .

Well, according to the nmims site, the college commences on the 30th of july. Is there any specific date by which we have to reach the hostel? For eg- like 3 days before the commencement or something like that? Also, when we filled the hostel form(for shirpur), the ppl there told us that we can submit the affidavit (the last 3 pgs of the shirpur campus form are affidavits) when we go at the campus for term commencement. Is there any specific date for that affidavit too?

You can come on that day in morning.. Yes better submit affidavits when you come asap

I have been alloted a seat in MBA(T) civil, shirpur (Rank 1871), pls. tell me the procedure adopted by NMIMS for allotment of seat on preferences submitted by me
The MBA(T) -IT was exhausted on the same day councilling one session before my councilling,(at 1831)
Whether they will offer the preferenced catagory i.e., CS, IT, EXTC etc. as I have given the no. of preference. Also tell me whether resultant cancelled seat will be
first preferred to whom - i.e., rank wise or catagory wise. Pls. guide me in above ref.

In the previous posts I have given a pic of Academic Calender . In that there is vacation for Christmas. I dont know the holiday date of 2013

You have to pay the fees for mbatech ie the remaining fees and also to submit a transfer certificate if you go from btech to mbatech or vice versa..
See if you have given mbatech cs it extc above civil which i guess u have then if there is availability later then you will get it.
All preferences are those who have taken admission on the basis of their rankings.

Hey, is the syllabus you posted earlier for first trimester same for everyone? i mean for both MBAtech and Btech? Also, will we need laptops from the beginning of the term? because the booklet provided list of subjects which included computer programming(or something like that?) in the first trimester. So, do we need the laptop from the beginning or is it okay if we buy it after the first trimester(or some-way in the first semester)??

no its a bit different. let the college begin you will get new updated syllabus
laptops not much required during 1st yr.. required for programming but its ok if u dont have..

books will be same but u wont have all d chapters on that.. let the college begin.. den nly start studying.. if u r frm shirpur thn u can buy books from there also.

i visited shirpur campus yeterday der was a coputer room at colg so der u cn do ur works nd books r also available in library so dey told no need to buy comp nd books...

Hello I did not have migration certificate at the day of counselling and also the Demand Draft I was carrying was about Rs 28000 short.
I have sent the migration certificate already but did not send the demand draft.
How to send the demand draft now when I have submitted the checklist (orginal copy) with it? I have the dupicate copy of it.
Can we submit the demand draft in shirpur when we reach there (can we submit it in the office of shirpur?)

What is your NMAT Rank. What branch you have got currently. Give complete info then only I can say anything about it.

i have got "mba tech civil" and m asking that how do they provide the seat aftr vacancy is it like on preference basis or merit?
and wt are my chncs of gettin mba tech it or any other branch in mba tech??
