AIEEE 2012 Cutoffs: I am getting xyz marks, what can i get? Ask all such queries here

i am getting 164-172 marks in aieee 2012.. my home state is tamil nadu itself.. please let me know the courses (please tell all the courses eligible) that would be available for me in NIT - TRICHY... is there a chance of instrumentation eng..or mech.. in it...for this marks..??

- At this score you should be getting around 15-25k rank. You stand an outside chance of making the cut to NIT Trichy. Keep you fingers crossed till the later rounds of counseling!

Iam Scoring about 230. Can I get CS or MTech. in NIT WARANGAL, TRICHY OR SURATHKAL?

hi - Great score man. You should be getting around 5000-7000 rank. At this rank you should be getting mech in MNNIT and most other top NITs. Please raise a query in the respective thread of each NIT where you are interested in.

We have seniors from those college answering queries for you people.

Based on last years estimates, you should be able to get CS & Mech both in the mentioned NITs!

but 2011 cutoff says that last year for marks of 230 people got 6000 rank

I am getting around 160 marks in AIEEE 2012 (B. tech)
I am from general category (delhi)

I know this is a very low score, but still, is there any chance of my getting admission in cs or mech branch in any good nit??
If there is, then please let me know which nit?
If not, then please suggest which colleges should i look out for (where i can get these branches) through aieee 2012...

PS- I looked for many colleges on the net and i came across Thapar University... is there any chance of me getting admission there???

@tejaswalia - at 172 score, you should be getting a rank in the range of 15k-20k. NIT delhi, yes, you stand a chance in the later rounds of counseling. DTU, a little difficult.

thanks for replying. Based on previous years cutoffs, i think i'll be able to get biotech in DTU. is the scope for biotech good ? and NIT delhi is quite new and i dont know if its a good college.

- at 270 score, you should be getting a rank in TOP 1000! Yes, you definitely have a good chance for CSE in NSIT & DTU both, and also in NIT trichy & NIT Warangal...Wait for the later rounds of counseling...

- at this score you should be getting a rank around 25-30k. So a seat in NIT-JSR is definitely ON! Wait for later rounds of counseling. You should be getting a seat in rounds 4-5-6-7!

BTW, what is your preferred branch???
