Yes u can get admission in Mgmt Quota....

Since demand for CS is very high, expect to pay something like 18-20 lakhs for 4 yrs!!!

HI, hav taken provisional admission in VIT mechanical, they want originals and full fee by June 23, by when nothing would be known on BITSAT scene (my score 285 being broderline..), not sure whether AIEEE status too would be clear. Will VIT refund my fee and more imprtantly return my original certificates, if I want to join say BITS Goa/Hyd later after having takne admission

I will suggest u call up the admission office and enquire. The refund policy must have been told to u at the time of counseling.....didnt u read it?? Also VIT has the habit of changing refund policies every yr..so cant comment.......u need to sift thru ur docs that they gave u, else call them up!

they did mention that they'd refund all but 1000/ if we withdraw by July 1st, which means no clairty on BITs, My AIEEE rank is 25647, Delhi state, General hence can't expect much, admission office phone lines r always busy, no reply to email queries, my main worry is original certificates if they return those peacefully, will take a chance on amount refund

Well,

they have no option but to return them.....good colleges will not do something like that......else u can always report it on media websites like ours and take legal recourse....but i dont think u ll have to do it....they will return!
