Brown University is considered to be one of the oldest Ivy League College and also in the US. The university is famous for providing excellent education and attracts top students worldwide. For the academic session 2015-16 the university has shortlisted 2692 students from 79 nations. The top countries other than the US were China (57), India (34), United Kingdom (33), Korea (30), and Canada (28). The University organized the program for international students through the Watson Institute for International Studies.

Well, for seeking admission to the university there is no other separate procedure for international students. You will need to follow the general procedure as provided by the University. The following is the step by steps for procedure for seeking admission to the Brown University for international students.
For getting admission to the first year the student must have completed the 12 years of primary and secondary schooling. The interested candidate needs to apply the national entrance exam such as the GCE A-levels, German Abitur, French Baccalauréat. Based on the performance of the students in the said exam admission will be given.
Students who have completed their 13 years of schooling or have completed the first years and have an excellent academic record may also be eligible under some advance standing or transfer credit at the university once they become sophomores. For this the student need present his official credential for review by the appropriate dean and department.

English Proficiency Test:
International students whose first language is not English may need to appear for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and arrange for Brown to receive the official results. A TOEFL score of 600 or above on the written exam or 100 or above on the internet-based exam, or an 8.0 on the IELTS, is expected in most cases. If your score on the SAT Critical Reading test is above a 650, it is not necessary to take the TOEFL or IELTS.
Financial Aids for foreign citizens is limited and should be noted that awards will not be given in cash but as credits towards the cost of tuition fees, room, and board. Students need to apply for the same at the time of admission.
