Google I/O 2015: What to Expect
Google I/O is the annual software developers conference held by the search engine giant Google in San Francisco, California. The conference agenda is to discuss the features of building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, etc.
For the year 2015, the conference is schedule to be held on May 28 and May 29, 2015 in San Francisco, California. The Google has already published a brief description of the session to be held at the conference. The ticket of the conference were already sold in the month of March and it was reported that the price of the conference were between $900 for general admission and $300 for academic admission.
What to expect:
Google has not shared a fixed agenda of the conference , we expect the following will be the agenda of the conference.
In the previous version of the conference in 2014, Google has announced the Android Lollipop. Similarly it is expected that in this year's conference the company will be revealing the new version of the Google Operating system Android M. Although the company has not officially revealed the release of the new version of Android, few days back it Google has released a brief session in Android at work about Android M. Google Glass 2.0
Although the company has stop the Google Glass Explorer Program earlier in the year, it is expected the company will be revealing about the new version of the Google glass 2.0 and it was reported the company was also working to develop similar glass which uses intel chip.
Earlier Google has already explain about the Google Self Driving car, so it will be highly expected if the company share details about its projects like Android auto and self driving car.
Google is also expected announce Cloud Messaging 3.0, a new version of Google’s push messaging platform.
It is also expected that Google will also discussing about the improvement and new updates about the Google smart watch operating system the Android wear.
Project Ara, which is Google's modular device project, is also expect in the conference.
