7 Last minute tips to ace the IIT-JEE 2012

#1 Do not start new Topics: In these last few days just revise your basic formulas and concepts what you’ve studied till now. Taking up new topics at the last moment can confuse you and put unnecessary pressure on your mind.
#2 Rework the important topics: Just revisit important theorems, derivations like electromagnetism and modern physics in physics, coordinate geometry and calculus in mathematics, chemical and ionic equilibrium and aromatic compounds in chemistry. This is the time to revise all these important topics and refresh your memory.
#3 Make mistakes now: Solve mock papers as much as you can and make all the mistakes that you possibly can do in the main exam; this will ensure that you will not repeat these mistakes in the actual exam.
#4 Revise NCERT: IIT-JEE questions are very close to NCERT now so reacquaint yourself with concepts of the NCERT textbook.
#5 Solve previous years question papers: Solve IIT-JEE question papers of last five years. No need to go beyond five years as pattern of IIT-JEE has completely changed since 2007. #6 Change your study time: If you are habitual to study in night hours and sleeping all through the day it’s time to change your body clock. Stop studying in the night because your IIT-JEE papers are scheduled in two slots: between 9 am-12 noon and 2 pm- 5 pm. try to take mock IIT-JEE papers exactly during these timings under conditions similar to the actual examination day. This will ensure that you are not under pressure on the day time.
#7 Relax: Try and relax in these days and take some activities that would relax and calm you and be confident.
