Let's see what 2013 has up it's sleeves. Beginning of the New Year is accompanied by new resolutions for a better life ahead. And it's an old custom that was started way back by antecedents centuries ago.
The ancient Babylonians made promises to their gods at the start of each year that they would return borrowed objects and pay their debts. On the other hand Romans began each year by making promises to the god Janus, for whom the month of January is named. In the Medieval era, the knights took the "peacock vow" at the end of the Christmas season each year to re-affirm their commitment to chivalry.
Our generation believes in partying hard on New year eve! But, it is said that what's done on the first day of the upcoming year, goes on till the end of that very year.
We might love to believe it but if Mayans can go wrong, anybody else can! This is the year when weíll definitely, absolutely and without any shadow of a doubt finally prepare a To-do list, and will follow it the whole year . If you note a degree of over-emphasis behind this new yearís resolution, it is because we're afraid it is not the first time we have made it.
But letís not rest our case on the exact number of years when we have made this particular promises to ourself. The most embarrassing fact is that we've been trying to adopt our resolution rather for a long time, and still havenít quite cracked it.
So, once again let's focus our minds on what's up in the resolution list for 2013.

Interesting. This would have been on the New year's reslolutions list countless time. Start off with a lie and you'll end up lying about a thousand times in order to justify it. So to cut the stretch JUST STOP LYING!
Guys do this all the time. But to get over it is the hardest part. No matter how old or young we are, but to respect the individuality of others is the greatest gesture. bad-mouthing others is considered to be low on etiquette's and mannerism.
Don't Fall, easily!
We are most of the times worse when it comes to making choices. Girl can make us fall for them with a fake smile. Girls/Guys end up heart broken, drowning careers etc if break-up happens to encounter. This year promise yourself to act a bit smart and take some time, think consciously before indulging in any kind of a relationship.
