This is a T-blog about my trip to yelagiri in my school days..
But still I cherish the memory of the days I spent in the picturesque of Yelagiri hill
with my mom dad and Sis..
The place is located 260 kms from Chennai and located at a height of about 1410 meters above mean sea level.
We reached the hills from Thirupathur taking a town bus and the pathway was very beautiful with all scenic and serene beauty of God Nature..The quality of the road was excellent and lots of twists with 14 hair pin bends to bring delights to a driver.
As expected from a Ghat road, it was a bit narrow..After reaching the hill top, you can find a lake where we did pedal boating.
We went atop a hill called swamimalai where a temple for Lord Muruga was situated and made the place more serene and divine..
There is a small zoo near the lake where you can see beautiful deers and python..The whole place was so neatly maintained..
Later in the evening, we visited the Nature Park. It was already 6:30 PM and the park was closed. There was a musical Fountain show though which was supposed to start at 7 PM.
We saw through the show. The pattern was random and it was just repeating. But our minds easily sync the pattern with the music that plays.
